Privacy Policy

Elite Legal Services respects your privacy. This policy explains the types of information we may collect, how we use and protect that information, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.

Effective Date: August 10, 2026

1. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected by Elite Legal Services ("ELS," "we," "us," or "our") through our website, online forms, communications, service requests, online ordering process and legal-support services.

This policy does not control the privacy practices of independent third-party websites, courts, government agencies, payment processors, software providers or other organizations involved in a legal matter or service request.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with ELS, we may collect:

  • Name, business name, law firm or organization.
  • Email address, telephone number and mailing address.
  • Billing and transaction information.
  • Case numbers, court information, deadlines and service instructions.
  • Names, addresses and identifying information about individuals or entities involved in an assignment.
  • Documents uploaded or provided for process service, court filing, document retrieval or other legal-support services.
  • Communications sent by email, telephone, website form or online ordering system.
  • Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages and website activity where collected by our website or technology providers.

Clients should provide only information reasonably necessary for ELS to perform the requested service.

3. How We Use Information

We may use collected information to:

  • Receive, review, manage and complete service assignments.
  • Communicate about assignments, attempts, completion, billing and customer support.
  • Prepare proofs of service, affidavits, status reports or related documentation.
  • Process payments and maintain transaction records.
  • Verify addresses, entities, registered agents or other information relevant to an assignment.
  • Operate, secure and improve our website and business systems.
  • Prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents or unauthorized activity.
  • Comply with applicable laws, court rules, legal process, recordkeeping requirements or lawful requests.
  • Protect the rights, safety, property and legitimate business interests of ELS, our clients and others.

4. Legal Documents & Case Information

Clients may provide legal documents and case-related information so ELS can perform process serving and other legal-support services. These materials may contain personal information about parties, witnesses, businesses or other individuals.

We use case-related information to perform the requested assignment, document our work, communicate with the client, maintain business records and comply with applicable obligations. Because process service often requires locating and identifying a named person or entity, information supplied by a client may be used in the field as reasonably necessary to complete the assignment.

5. Payment Information

Online orders may be submitted through our Mighty Process Server ordering system, and payments may be processed through Stripe or another authorized payment processor.

ELS does not intentionally collect or store complete payment-card numbers through our website. Payment information is handled by the applicable processor under its own privacy and security practices. ELS may receive transaction details such as payment status, amount paid, transaction identifier, billing name and limited payment information needed for accounting or customer service.

6. Cookies, Website Data & Analytics

Our website and technology providers may use cookies, pixels, log files or similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, understand website traffic, improve performance, prevent abuse and measure website interaction.

You may be able to limit or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.

7. How Information May Be Shared

ELS does not sell personal information for monetary compensation.

Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to:

  • Technology, website-hosting, case-management, document-storage, communications and payment-processing providers.
  • Process servers, field personnel, couriers or other providers assisting with an assignment.
  • Courts, clerks, government offices, record custodians or other entities when needed to complete a requested legal-support service.
  • Attorneys, law firms, clients or authorized representatives connected to the applicable assignment.
  • Law enforcement, courts, regulators or other parties when required by law, subpoena, court order or other lawful process.
  • Professional advisors, insurers or others when reasonably necessary to protect legal rights or business interests.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to perform services, maintain assignment and business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and satisfy legal, accounting, tax or recordkeeping obligations. Retention periods may vary by information type and assignment.

9. Data Security

ELS uses reasonable administrative, technical and operational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

No website, electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to or maintained by us or our service providers.

If you believe information provided to ELS has been accessed or used improperly, contact us promptly at [email protected] or 859-444-7777.

10. Your Choices & Privacy Requests

You may contact ELS to request review, correction or deletion of personal information you directly provided to us, subject to applicable law and any legal, court, accounting, tax, recordkeeping or legitimate business obligation requiring retention.

If you receive non-transactional marketing communications from ELS, you may use any available unsubscribe method or contact us directly. We may need to verify identity before acting on certain privacy-related requests. Privacy rights vary by location and applicable law.

11. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults and businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly use our website to solicit personal information from children under 13.

Information concerning a minor may occasionally appear in legal documents or case materials supplied by a client. In those circumstances, it is handled as part of the legal-support assignment rather than collected from the child through our website.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our services, technology, business practices or legal requirements. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
